Ah, Ibis Reims Tinqueux! Nestled conveniently just off the autoroute, this hotel is a haven for those of us traversing between the UK and the Alps. The lovely Carrefour nearby is perfect for stocking up on supplies and the lovely warm welcome from the staff really set a comforting tone for our journey. I have to shout about the breakfast – a fantastic buffet that includes everything from eggs to fresh fruit. It’s the ideal fueling station for your travels. But on the flip side, I did find the room a touch too warm for my liking; the fragrant wind from the nearby roads didn’t help when I had to crack open the window! Nevertheless, given the peaceful green surroundings and the stylish, air-conditioned rooms, I still managed to unwind after long hours behind the wheel. A delightful stopover for sure!
